We are so excited to have innovative pianist extraordinaire Kathleen Supové join us for this contemporary music series program at The Ware Center. For this special concert, NakedEye presents new works by East Coast composers, including four world premieres. The traditional two-piano format is revisited with a contemporary twist and a boldly imaginative exploration of new forms. In music by Lois Vierk, Randall Woolf, Zack Browning, Rusty Banks, Richard Belcastro, and Missy Mazzoli, instruments, both big (marimba, xylophone, timpani, drum set, grand pianos) and small (toy piano, melodica, bells, pieces of wood, and miscellaneous bits) take part in a revelry of both thought-provoking and fantastically creative music.
