
J. SONG, pianos
Founder and director of NakedEye, JU-PING SONG is recognized as an important voice in contemporary music. Her colorful performances have won her praise as “an extraordinary pianist” (Boston Globe). She has inspired the creation and commission of over 40 new works by today’s composers.
Concerts and masterclasses take her yearly to Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy, Taiwan, Japan and the U.S. Festivals include Darmstadt Contemporary Music Workshop, Bogotá New Music Festival, Tanglewood Music Center, Florence Youth Orchestra Festival, Akyoshidai New Music Festival, and Chautauqua Music Festival.
Ju-Ping (pronounced Zu-Ping) earned her Ph.D. at New York University, and currently lives and works in Lancaster, PA.

M. ALLISON, flutes
MATTHEW ALLISON is founder of the Oread Ensemble (flute, clarinet, bassoon), and a founding member of NakedEye Ensemble. He has been a regular member with the Harrisburg Symphony and Allegro Chamber Orchestra.
In addition to a decade of professional teaching experience at nationally accredited institutions, Matthew has performed for organizations including Mansfield University, The College of New Jersey, Pennsylvania Music Educator Association, and for the Pennsylvania, Kansas, Missouri, and Illinois Music Teacher Associations.
Matthew is currently adjunct faculty at Lindenwood University and staff at O'Fallon Township, Belleville East, and Granite City High Schools.
Matthew earned his DMA at The University of Kansas, and is operating a successful teaching studio in metro St Louis. He also works with musicians' health, as a certified and experienced yoga instructor.

C. KINSEY, guitar
CHAD KINSEY is a record producer and guitarist based in Lancaster, PA. Recent producing projects include Jessica Smucker's Tumbling After, Dan Zdilla's Behold and Lo, Leo DiSanto's The Moon, a Silver Dime, Steve Patterson's Ashes on the Water, Birte and Beatrix's A Lion I Know, Dave Lefever's Everywhere You Come From, and The Separators' Sixes and Sevens.
Chad spent the 90s on the road with the band burning bus, recording two albums and playing 600 shows. More recently, he has performed and recorded with Loretta Bilieux, Highfalootin', Amy Banks, Moses Braxton, Pete Barnhart, Robin Chambers, Imitation #9, and Alive She Cried. Chad is currently a core member of NakedEye Ensemble.
Chad has written film scores and collaborated with James Sugg on the soundtrack for Sebastienne Mundheim's Sea of Birds art installation. He toured with this production between 2008 and 2010.

R. KAUFFMAN, sax
RYAN KAUFFMAN performs and teaches in Central and Eastern Pennsylvania.
He currently leads his own jazz trio and quartet, with appearances at Bethlehem Musikfest, Central Pennsylvania Friends of Jazz, Lancaster Jazz Festival and Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival. He has performed with David Liebman, Steve Giordano, Ron Thomas, Tim Warfield, Steve Wilson, Peter Paulsen, the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra and the Manhattan Saxophone Ensemble. Ryan also doubles on the flute and clarinet and plays for various regional and Philadelphia-area theaters.
Ryan teaches at the Darlington Arts Center, and the Westtown School.
Ryan earned his M.M. from West Chester University, where he studied with Gunnar Mossblad.

P. KIBBE, cello
Cellist PETER KIBBE, son of Los Angeles, was raised in a loving family of classical musicians and composers, has had the pleasure of studying and playing with some of the finest teachers and performers on both coasts of the US, and currently enjoys a career as an orchestral and chamber musician in Baltimore.
Peter has had the privilege of working with many of today's most respected performers and conductors, and is a member of several ensembles in Baltimore, including The Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, performing a diverse range of classical and romantic era pieces, and The Lunar Ensemble, an acclaimed group dedicated to new and cutting edge works, and specializing in performances of Arnold Schoenberg's masterwork "Pierrot Lunaire." He joins NakedEye Ensemble in Spring 2017.
Peter enjoys moonlighting as a DJ and is working on the craft of rehairing instrument bows. Peter plays on a 2004 Cremonese instrument made by Roberto Collini.

P. MURR, percussion
PAUL MURR is the Instrumental Music Coordinator for the Lancaster County Catholic Grade Schools. In addition to teaching lessons during the school day, Paul is Director and Percussion Arranger of the LCHS Marching Band and Percussion Ensemble Director.
His versatility as a performer finds him active and in high demand in many stylistic genres, from Classical to Rock. He performs and records regularly with new music ensemble NakedEye, the Allegro Chamber Orchestra, Fauna Flora, Imitation #9 (Beatles tribute band), and numerous songwriters in the Mid-Atlantic.
Paul holds a BA in Music from Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he studied percussion with PAS Hall of Fame member Dr. Gary Olmstead.

M. BITTS, bass
MIKE BITTS is a bassist and keyboardist from Lancaster, PA. He has recorded and performed with a diverse group of artists that includes The Innocence Mission, Clarence Spady, Robert Gordon, and Cliff Hills.
Mike joined NakedEye in 2014.

C. BANKS, clarinets
CHRISTY BANKS is Associate Professor of Music (Clarinet and Saxophone) at Millersville University of Pennsylvania where she also serves as Assistant Chair of the Music Department.
Interested in newly composed music, Christy is a founding member of Lincoln's New Music Agency and performs with Lancaster-based NakedEye Ensemble. She has performed with the Lincoln Symphony Orchestra, the Nebraska Symphony Chamber Orchestra, and the Nebraska Chamber Players. She was a performer at the International Clarinet Association's ClarinetFests® in 2011 and 2012.
Christy received her DMA in clarinet from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her primary clarinet teachers are Diane Cawein Barger, Frank Kowalsky, Eric Ginsberg, and Wesley Reist. She is the Pennsylvania state chair of the International Clarinet Association and founder of the Millersville University Single Reed Symposium.
